Welcome to the list.
After 1972 engine power seemed to be cut in half due to emmissions regulations
and rising gas prices. I don't know now hard it is to get parts in Hungary but
even that '77 engine can be rebuilt to have the power it would have had before
'72.
Used engine prices vary quite a bit. Rebuilt 350's I've have been sold
anywhere from $800 to $1,600 give or take some depending on power. Used,
unrebuilt can be anything. Some people give old engines away. But then you
most likely have to have it rebuilt.
