I have the hotchkis 1" drop springs on my '69 Malibu. They seem to work really well. I swapped them in along with
a PST Polygraphite kit and a sway bar so the overall ride is a lot nicer.
I did the 1" drop springs on all 4 springs and the drop is noticeable.
Also, I can still clear speed bumps with bonking the headers.
Less of a drop, Less of a hassle.

I have to completely redo the suspension on my '70 Chevelle. I was
thinking of putting the 2" drop spindles and I have to replace the coil
springs as well and the only ones I can find that I would rely on are by
Hotchkis and they drop the car another 1". I was wondering if anyone
has this setup or if anyone knows of someone who does. I personally got
to thinking about it and that would add up to 3" drop in the front and
only 1" in the back and I think that might be too much up front.
Although the car does seem to have a lot of space in those front wheel
wells. I want my car to sit level not with the front end angled down
and the rear in the air. I also plan on trying to fit 16" or 17" rims
on the car. Any input and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
