I installed a new Centerforce clutch in my 67 last
year. I recall that it came with an instruction sheet about adjusting the
position of the ball that the clutch fork pivots on in steel bell housings only.
The axial position was different than that for the standard aluminum housing. I
tossed the sheet because I don't have a scattershield. Try contacting
Centerforce for a copy of the adjustment instructions.
