I've got a 3 core, shroud, and regular steel flex fan.  Don't have any
problems unless I get stuck in traffic with no air flow.  Normal traffic or
highway it runs 185-195 tops.  I did read somewhere where you can go
overboard on the number of cores and size in fact; it can actually have the
reverse desired effect.  Same with some "hi-flow" water pumps, if the water
pumps through the engine/radiator too fast, it doesn't have time to cool.
Could have been propaganda - I'll do some research.
