I'm going to switch from my Q-jet to a Holley carb. I need some help with the throttle cable hardware. I want to use the stock cable, it is held in place by the bracket that's bolted to the back carb bolts. The cable is held in the bracket by a big round grommet that goes in a slot in the bracket. Is there an aftermarket bracket that will fit the stock cable yet bolt up to the Holley bolt pattern ? Also I'm open to ideas as to how to run the fuel line. I'm going to use the stock mechanical pump and would like to run steel line up to the carb then split the line to the float bowls. I wonder if the reproduction fuel lines with the dual feed Y block would fit a 454. Can you guys running dual feed set ups give me some input. If you have links to pics of your engine compartments please let me know. I want a clean installation that could pass for stock.
