Bob,
I still can't help you, because my 66 is an original
Holley equipped car from the factory, and does not use
a cable, my car has an arm/lever mounted to the
firewall that attaches to the peddle, the arm has a
round rod with a 90deg bend on the end that attaches
to the carb, I suggest you go to the Holley web site
and e-mail them, they have been most helpful for any
questions I have had reguarding my Holley, I'm sure
thay can tell you how to hook your carb up using the
cable,here is there address.

Hope this helps.
