I didn't say but,  there is a difference between spindles for 11" & 12"
rotors.   Do you have a preference?  The 11's are much easier to find.   
  You can use earlier than 79 spindles, but I'm not sure which rotors
you'd use.  These earlier spindles use A2/A6 bearings.     Also about 83
the spindles were made lighter & stronger (or so I've read).
