I'd see cars being pushed from the trailer to a show spot and wonder if it was all worth it

Dale,

did ya ask the guy if it even had pistons in it? ;-)  I did that to a guy once and he got all bent out of shape.
I know mine is not the cleanest or most immaculate car in the world, but when a POS car thats has been slapped together beats me when mine has gone through a frame off resto and has 26 grand invested in it, just kinda urks me.  Needless to say I wont be going back to those shows.  I actually have gotten 2  first place wins, and it was a total suprise considering a few i was up against.  i guess i just know where every single flaw is that others don't notice.  The first year i had it done, I went to a show every weekend and always came home empty handed.  The second year I collected 13 trophies all together.  I am suprised I am off to a good start this year already, collected 1 more in 3 real shows.  My goal is to at least place at Super Chevy although I know that is next to impossible considering they are some of the best cars in their respective areas.
Anyways, anyone on the list who is going to CB 2002 will see mine, I have it all registered up, I'll be spending a week detailing it.

Tom
