Speaking of the old days... Does anyone remember a Chevy powered car known as the Cheetah? I think they came with a 427 and were around 2000lbs total. I don't remember the details, but I thought it was supposed to be an effort to compete with the AC Cobras.
BTW, when I met Phil at the Laurel MD 4th of July show, he said he thought I was a crusty old fart (more or less). So I thought I should mention I'm only 35. I guess that could be crusty to some people but I don't think I'm crusty yet. For the record, I'd give my left nut for an original 427 AC Cobra. But I'd give it away for a 66 427 convertible Vette too.
