Where did you get it? How is it made?

 

I have a '64 dash pad right here. It is vinyl wrapped over foam with a steel backing plate. There are no "holes" for securing it. There are about 6 studs sticking through the metal backing plate. You have to reach up underneath and put nuts on those studs to mount it.

 

I'll be dropping this particular pad off this coming week. I'll ask the customer to test-fit it while I'm there. I'm sure he won’t mind. I also put a repro dash pad on my 69. It fits fine and there were no problems mounting it.

I have to agree with Larry 1005 on the after market dach pads. I have one in my 64 rag and it's juat acceptable.

( one notch up from junk) the fit is bad the hols for securing it were off and there's a bow above the main instrument cluster.

The place Larry's my be thinking of  name is "Just Dashes"
