Wayne, Where did
you get it? How is it made? I have a
'64 dash pad right here. It is vinyl wrapped over foam with a steel backing
plate. There are no "holes" for securing it. There are about 6 studs
sticking through the metal backing plate. You have to reach up underneath and
put nuts on those studs to mount it. I'll be
dropping this particular pad off this coming week. I'll ask the customer to test-fit
it while I'm there. I'm sure he won’t mind. I also put a repro dash pad on my
69. It fits fine and there were no problems mounting it. John Nasta -----Original
Message----- I have
to agree with Larry 1005 on the after market dach pads. I have one in my 64 rag
and it's juat acceptable. ( one
notch up from junk) the fit is bad the hols for securing it were off and
there's a bow above the main instrument cluster. The
place Larry's my be thinking of name is "Just Dashes" Wayne |
