Hello Thanks for all the info on the Dash Pad. Still not sure how to resolve it so I end up with a Silver Blue Dash Pad that looks original. I'll just have to keep looking and not put the dash bezel/glove box in til I can figure it out.
You know, just when you think you got something done, you get tossed a ringer. Weather has been really good here this summer, hot, but great to work on the Malibu. So had it parked in front of my garage, and tarped it over night. Well, a sudden and unexpected storm came up at night, blew off the tarp which ended up getting water in the trunk. I still had not replaced the trunk weather stripping. Well... I had just finished the trunk's finish with grey and white splatter paint. Yep... the spatter paint bubbled up where the water laid on it over night. It came up like papermache. Two steps forward, one step backward.
