Being the skeptical and show me the proof type, I got
involved with a thread on Team Chevelle. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/Forum29/HTML/001832.html
The Popular Mechanics web site (http://popularmechanics.com/automotive/sub_coll_vintage/1999/4/65_chevelle/)
said one was built for Bunkie Knudsen although GM claims ALL were hardtops and
only 200 of those made. Anyway, the TC thread has a gentleman who claimed
to have owned the car and bought it used through the GM Tech Center and was
triple Gold and not Red, Black or Yellow. No dealer records, no insurance
records, no state vehicle registration records exist so far. Like FOX
News, I just report it, you decide.
