How many 1968 Chevelles were made with this paint code??? The letter is I think - K. Thank you, We (my dad and I) had the oppuntornity to go see a 1968 chevelle SS clone about 2 minutes away from here, and the original color is Tripoli Turquoise. Tell me what you think, The paint job (The color is burgundy) is base coat clear coat, VERY GOOD quality, it has a 1966 Chevelle SS 396 BBC in it, and it has one of those racing shifters, you know like the B&M Shifter, The interior is spotless. The only flaw is that the passenger side door does not open, and the owner is going to fix it before it gets sold. I feel that it is worth it, and plus, do you know how hard it is to find a car like this 2 minutes away from my house, lol? He is asking 11.5. I feel it is worth it, I figure a malibu is 9 grand, a 396 bbc is 2,500, with the mods, its worth 3500 (it does 13 flat in quarter mile). SS Embalms worth 200. Shifter is ???--I'm guessing it is 750 dollars? When you add it all up, it sounds very reasonable. Wish us luck! :-)
