Put the electric on a manual switch? Would the manual fuel pump draw through it ok after it was switched off? Prime the carb with the electronic pump before starting and use the engine-driven pump as your main supplier. After starting,switch off the electric pump. Putting one in the tank will probably require a custom tank;not cheap. I would recommend it if you were running EFI but not a carb. Will have a carb on it. I don't like electrics in geberal because I had one that used to vapor lock even though it wasn't far from the tank. Soooo thinking about putting one IN the tank.    Anyone else done that? Which one did you use? Any problems with getting a guage to work in a stock tank too?
