I've built my cars to handle since before the term was coined. One of the first things I did was convert my Chevelle over to disks with the tall spindles, but that was before GW and Hotchkiss came up with their lengthened A Arms and HO was the only one doing this. After tearing through one site of tires due to alignment limits, I got the Global West setup and have never looked back.
I've even had the Chevelle at the track twice. Had lots of fun and even impressed quite a few people at Willow Springs. I timed myself with my watch and came up with a lap time of 1:48 (83 MPH average), and calculated that I was pulling just a tad over 1 G based on Turn 2 (470 foot radius, 90 mph).
