You could always consider a 2 bolt main, and install splayed main caps. That's what I'm running on my 383. In all honesty, I've heard opinions both ways on the splayed maincaps, though. I've heard they are better and stronger than an original 4 bolt, I've also heard that they can weaken the block, if installed incorrectly. It is a lot easier (and cheaper) than a 4 bolt, though. Just my humble opinion.
