The present Hurst unit is mounted such that it protrudes though the floor left of the console, and the former owner hacked up the console and floor pretty bad to get it to exist there. The trans is a Muncie M21. I want to go back to a shifter the comes through the console as it did from the factory, but i would also like to improve upon the factory performance and not have quite as much slop, or throw.
