I'm pretty sure we covered this one a while back.  You could do a search through the archives for it, if you don't get an answer soon.  I couldn't tell you about a BB, I have a SB383.  Mine are even a PITA, but if I take the engine mount bolts out, and lift the motor just a bit, I can barely squeak them outta there.  I'm fairly certain, that if you take the head off, it will come outta there, but you probably don't want to go through all that!  ;-)   SARGE 69SS/Clone -----Original Message----- From: LandMMilano [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, February 19, 2004 12:32 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Chevelle-list] Header removal I have a 69 4spd big block and I am having a rough time getting the driver's side header off.  The passenger side came out from the bottom, but the driver's side hits the clutch, steering, etc. so, unbolted motor and moved steering column out of way and it still will not come out the top.  Any secrets I am missing?
