Subject: RE: [Chevelle-list] 67 El Camino and 2 Door HardtopAll '67s have 115" wheelbase. The Elky frame is longer overall with the extra length coming AFTER the rear axle location. I had a .jpg showing the differences at one time, but I'll be darned if I can find it. A hardtop body will fit but some length of the frame must be removed from the back; can't remember how much.Dale McIntosh

Subject: [Chevelle-list] 67 El Camino and 2 Door Hardtop
I remember recently someone on the list said that the El Camino Frame
was 4 inches shorter or longer than a 2 hardtop. Could someone confirm this?,
and could any one tell me if the body from a 2 door hardtop would fit the frame
of a 67 El Camino.
Thanks
JD
