Apparently, some people missed the correct answer. See
http://www.chevellestuff.com/67stuff/groups/group.007/frame_dimensions.jpg
for dimensions of the two 1967 Chevelle frames - straight out of the 1967
Chassis manual.

You might also check the verbiage from the GM parts manual here
(http://www.chevellestuff.com/67stuff/groups/group.007/frame_assembly.htm)
to see what must be done to fit a 1967 frame under a sport coupe, station
wagon and 64-66 sedans. You'll also notice that the 1967 frames are unique
from 64-66 frames.

It photo clearly shows and states that the STW (station wagon) and pick-up
(El Camino) have the same length between the shown measuring points at
148.62 inches. The sedan (no distinction between 2-dr and 4-dr), coupe &
convertible is 145.35 inches to the same measuring points on the shorter
frame. All other dimensions are identical, regardless of what body is on
the frame. So, you need to cut 3.27 inches off the REAR of the El Camino
frame somewhere behind the body mounts just aft of the rear axle housing to
make the station wagon/El Camino frame fit a sedan, coupe or convertible.
