Hello everyone,
I haven't contributed to the list for a while because my wife and I are getting ready
to have our first baby. I want to continue a family tradition my dad inadvertently
started. My first ride from the hospital was in a red 66 Chevelle SS396. I want to
continue this tradition by bringing my wife and son home from the hospital in my red
70 Chevelle SS454. I was wondering if anyone has ever installed the latch-lock system
in their cars for the new-style car seats. Does anyone know where I can purchase a
latch system that would fit without major modifications? I know a welder who could
make the hoods and bolt them to the body behind the seat if necessary, but I would
rather find a set that fits and bolt them in without any permanent welding.
Does anyone have any experience in this arena? I doubt I'm the first guy to try this
endeavor.
