I see many of you talking about having 700 series tranys on your car. I have a heavy Duty 400 on my Chevelle. Works great! With the 454 engine and the blower...the gas mileage isn't great. I'm having a 3.73 ratio installed on my 12 bolt.
First can a 700 trany handle 700+HP? How much gas savings do you get with your 700 trany? I know someone will say...what the heck do you expect with that kind of set up, but I have to ask. I do probably more cruising than strip! Just curious? Dan Wharton, TX
