If your engine actually produces 700hp,you really don't need an overdrive transmission. Why is that? An engine that makes that kind of power,also makes some very serious torque. The more torque,the less gearing you need. A 700hp BBC probably would work very well with a 3.08 gear. If you absolutely have to have an overdrive,buy a Gear Vendors unit and install it behind your built TH350 or TH400. I don't care who built it but I would not trust a 700R4 behind a supercharged BBC. Just my opinion,though.
