There was something definitely not right with that particular 572. 460rwhp is pretty good for a healthy 468 but a 572 should be closer to 500. I've seen and done enough dynoing with my cars to know that the average correction factor for auto trans cars is 20-22percent. I'd get another trans & converter before I would ever tolerate a 35 percent loss. Most manual trans use a 15-20 percent correction. When GM tested the ZF six speed used in the ZR-1 Corvettes,they found an 18 percent loss. Allowing a 20 percent correction,which might be low for a power-hungry 4L80E,that 460rwhp equates to around 575hp at the flywheel.
