Looking at those numbers,that engine looks a little
high strung. It should easily spin to 7K rpm.
What kinda gear you running in
back,Larry?

I hope to get better numbers after it's in the
car and we can work with the carburetor some. The guy running the dyno took my
carb off and put a custom job that was on the shelf on my engine and picked up
17 more horses without any tweaking (469hp). I just can't afford custom
stuff like that though.
BTW, I forgot to mention I'm running L78 heads.
Although I did get the heads rebuilt, I did not have any porting or polishing
done.
