I'll second the vote for MSD as a company. I had
an MSD6 unit in my Corvette and the coil died. I replaced the coil from an
auto parts store, but it was the wrong kind and messed up the control box.
I was on a road trip (that's why I got the wrong coil), and ended up buying a
new MSD6 box and coil once I got to a real city with a speed shop. When I
got home, I boxed up the bad controller and sent it to MSD for repair.
They sent it back with no charge for the repair.
