I'll second the vote for MSD as a company.  I had an MSD6 unit in my Corvette and the coil died.  I replaced the coil from an auto parts store, but it was the wrong kind and messed up the control box.  I was on a road trip (that's why I got the wrong coil), and ended up buying a new MSD6 box and coil once I got to a real city with a speed shop.  When I got home, I boxed up the bad controller and sent it to MSD for repair.  They sent it back with no charge for the repair. I also bought the MSD p/n 35379 for the big blocks which are 8.5mm spiral wound 50 ohm wires with the bendable ends. They are red with gray boots.   As a sidenote about MSD as a company, when I assembled my engine, I took it in to have it dyno'ed. In the process, I lost my coil wire. Not being able to find a suitable replacement at Summit, I called MSD. They sent one out at no charge. Just plain black, with the 45 degree boots. You can get them straight, or 90 degree also. They appear stock, only giveaway is some white writing on them.
