Wouldn't it be more prudent to know what engine it is, so he wouldn't
have to assume (Ass) out of (you)  and (me). grin

The 454 didn't appear until 1970.

 I would say you should go with the 105 torque number.

   I have IV Generation 454ci with a 2 bolt main. I'm going to pull the main 
caps to check the bearings. the chiltons says to torque them to 105ft.lbs  then 
it has a foot note that if its a 1966-67 4 bolt its 115ftlbs, 1966-68  , 2 
bolt-95 ftlbs. I am not sure what year the motor is, would it be safe to assume 
my motors main caps should be torqued to 105 ft lbs ? Jimmy C.
