My good friend Doug owns Precision Chassis in Pennsylvania
(www.precisionchassis.com)
I don't know anything about his prices, but I know he does
great work.
Kinda far from Chicago, but I figured it was worth
mentioning.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] back-halfI'm thinking of having a '70 Malibu back-halved in the near future. I'm not going the whole Pro Street route. (at least not now) For now I'd be keeping it mostly stock except for the back-half. I'm in Chicagoland. (western suburbs). Can any members out there recommend a quality shop? I'd want to drop the car off & pick it up when it's finished. Any idea on the turn around time on this? What the labor costs might be?I got Chris Alston's catalog and he seems to imply they do it for under $2000. I'd supply the rear end. I just love the look of this type of car. Mostly for cruising. No 1/4 mile runs. Any thoughts from the group would be great. Thanks to all.
