Devin, Look for a 3933163 intake. It's an aluminum intake GM used on the 396/375 and the 427/425 engines. Made by Winters for GM. With a dropped air filter base it should clear the hood with problem. I have one but really hadn't planned to sell it. They are usually available on EBay. It fits Rectangular port heads. Mike

In order not to modify the hood I used a late sixty’s low profile corvette intake. I believe my buddy may still have the intake. It would take me a few days to round him up. I currently have a Victor Jr/Demon and 68 Corvette air cleaner with 4” K+N on mine and it appears that I’m about 2 to 2.5 inches too high for a flat hood. I expect to have to go to a dual plane for now, hopefully not as far as a Performer. I’d like to be able to fit in an rpm or Weiand Stealth, or equivalent.
