Bob, The solenoid is triggered by a switch behind the gas pedal. If it doesn't have it already you will need the bracket, the switch and a small harness that runs thru the firewall. The switch and bracket are the same as the one used as a kickdown on the TH400. The harness plugs into your fuse box and is easy to install. The hardest parts is putting the hole in the firewall with the engine in the compartment.

One outer and one inner. the outer is operated by a vacume line and the inner has an electrical connection but I dont know what color the wire is supposed to be.
