I know you guys like the Holly design or Demon, me, I'm lazy and like
the simplicity of the Edelbrock AFB. What would be an example of the
.95 peak efficiency with respect to equipment?

The .80 to .95 is based on the efficiency of the engine. Use .80 for
a stock motor and increase as you feel your motor approaches peak
efficiency.
I would also recommend a double pumper and not vacuum secondary.
Wouldn't mechanical secondaries hurt him on the street? The opening
rate of vacuum secondaries can be easily tweaked for strip use.
