I have taken out and reinstalled my front glass on my 66. It is not that hard and as long as you use the correct tools and "rope" caulking, you should not have a problem. If I remember correctly, there are a few different sizes and the one you need to use is a little bit more then you need, leaving enough room to push it down a little to seal it correctly and reinstall the trim.
