As i mentioned is used to work in a german animal shelter. I think
it ws 99 or 2000. A six year old boy was killed by a pit. They
passed a law through which classied fighting dogsin two groups.
Group one was supposed to be always agressive, such as pit, mastiffs
dogue de bordeaux the other one, group two was Rottis Dobis. Those
two groups required a dog handling license, and high dog taxes
(around 1000 german mark a year). (yep we had to pay taxes to own a
dog)Them idiots didnt even mention the german shepard which is
beside the bandog on of the dogs i wouldnt touch. After that we got
crowded with all kind of dogs that where fighting dogs, 99% of them
nice. It eventually let to the thing that we had to put them down,
because nobody was willing to shell out that much money for the
license.
