That's interesting.  Makes sense. 
 
Lacey- out of curiosity I pulled up a chi weight chart to see at what age the chart stops.  It stops at 26 weeks(6 months) then jumps to 18 months(says adult weight).  There is a small weight gain on the chart between 6 months and 18 months, but could the majority of that weight have come between say 6 and 9 months?  I've never thought the chart was super accurate any ways.  I often see posts of a chi going over.  I can't see how it would take into account a slim build chi or the stocky chi.  OR..are chis like people where some get their growth early and some later?  I really look at the chart as being a guesstimate on whether a chi will be smaller or larger and that is all.
