Kibble, as a fact, kills dogs.  Tennis balls, as a fact, kill dogs.
Cars, medications, surgery, vaccines, people, other dogs, falls...they
all have been known to kill dogs.

Where in God's name are you getting your information? Medications and vaccines killing dogs? I have two elder Chis with heart problems who would be dead if they were not on medications. Are you saying you put your dogs' lives at risk by NOT getting them regular yearly vaccinations for Distemper, Parvo, and Rabies? Humans take Flu shots and other vaccines to prevent diseases such as Polio, Whooping Cough, Diphtheria, Pneumonia, etc. All of these vaccines contain the virus or bacteria that causes those diseases. It's there so your system will learn to protect you from contracting these illnesses. Do you take an estrogen replacement? That's made from the URINE of pregnant mares (after the foal is born, it's clubbed to death and added to dog food, as well as hot dogs and luncheon meat.

Only an idiot would give tennis balls to their dogs. I buy my toys from PeTA (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals- of which I am a member). The safest ones are tug toys. And Falls? How do you manage to let your dog fall from anything? I don't let my Chis jump up or down from furniture. I lift them up and down. Surgery? If my husband's Chi hadn't had emergency surgery, she would have died.
