ooops, turns out it was a prob on my end is why I couldn't tell anything
about the pics.....I failed to click to enlarg, BOL. Please forgive. :-)
He is a cutie. His face looks a lot like a pup I raised that I had not
wanted to let go, but ended up having to sell after all. He was my fave!
:-(
When you ask about quality, what exactly are you asking? Are you asking if
he meets AKC standards for breeding/showing, or are you asking if he is a
quality chi for pet purposes or what?
As for showing/breeding, a few things jump out at me. One, he does not
have the cobbly body from what I can tell. The cobbies are winning all the
shows right now! Personally, I am not a fan of the cobblies, I prefer the
slender bodied ones such as he is looking. Same with the legs, really,
they are a bit long for what is "winning" right now.
The head looks like it is nice and round and the ears look great. I love
his face! I can't tell about the nose (no side pic to judge legth).....the
shorter ones are the ones winning, but personally I prefer some nose and
not a flat face!! I mean I wouldn't want to breed a deer face into my
line, but I prefer not to have the face completely flat! What I like
differs from what is winning the shows right now.
I have seen many cute chis on my groups that I would choose over the
latest champion any day, lol.
So, is he likely to go to westminster? Probably not, but he looks like a
cutie anyways.....One I would be proud of. :-) Especially that face!!! Did
I mention I love his face??? lol
