Hi Marsha,

Thanks from critiquing my grand baby. We don't have any plans to show
him. My oldest daughter does show some but Drake is not AKC. He is
CKC. I don't know anything about the CKC. I don't know if that is
bad. We bought him is probably the worst place. In front of a grocery
store. That's why I asked if he was quality. We had been looking for
a small dog for three months when we found him. Other than the blood
sugar problems that I think is related to his small size and picky
eating we have not had any other problems with him. He was the runt
of a litter of two. I did see his Mom. She was tiny too with that
pretty head. My oldest daughter is a vet tech. She has had him
checked out with x-rays and all seems fine. I agree his head is his
greatest feature. We have been looking for a play mate for him and I
hate the heads on the pups we have seen. I have the other dogs that
he plays with but they are to big. We normal only let him play for
short times with them. We worry the whole time he might get hurt. Our
smallest dogs other than drake at 2 pounds, is 17 pounds, then 40
pounds, 60 pounds and the largest is 80 lbs. Drake plays tug a war
with his toys. The bigger dogs seem to know he is small. They have
also been raised with many small animals around them including baby
chicks. They would not hurt him intentionally. So far nothing has
happened. Drake is never left unattended with them. Just short
visits. I can tell he would love a play mate he could have all the
time.
Thanks,
Carol
