I bought a farret cage (4ft in diameter,…fairly cheap) and put a pee pad, crate, and bed in it. I leave Meeker in there somedays for 8 hours and she is fine. She is able to move around, go to the bathroom yet cannot get into anything that may hurt her or destroy anything. It has worked wonderfully so far! I'm usually gone from 9- 5, and I feel guilty locking them in the kitchen all day. The problem is-they urinate all over the carpet. I've put towels out for them to go on, but it's hit and miss.
