if you bring home a puppy, then getting along will depend on the cats. My dogs and cats all pair up. There are distinctive canine/feline partnerships, lol. Pepper and Taffy, Barley and Beanie, Puddin and Ginger. They are unseperateable pairs! :-) Puppies generally get along with anything that will play with them. The question is, will the cats accept the puppy.   If you want a chi mix, I strongly encourage you to go to a local shelter. There are tons of chi mixes needing good homes and they are sooo adorable!!! Petfinders is a great place to start looking for one in your area.
