It has been my experience that they r delivered within 5 business days. Maybe u could use the carrier till it is delivered.....that's what I did. dasha48 wrote: They have a lot of them. Some people, including myself, use carriers as crates. My chis prefer the darkness they can get inside the carriers better.   A kennel, technically, is an outside confined area. But some people refer to their inside x pens ect as kennels. An x-pen is sorta like a baby play pen only it doesn't have the bottom in it. I actually have these baby gate things that can be joined on either side to make as big or small as you want. I have mine divided right now into two separate pens because I have put the cat's litter box in one to keep the dogs out, lol. The cat can get over, the dogs can't.   Here is a link to the type of thing I use as a pen/kennel.
