It sounds as if Mimi should be fixed. Local shelters sometimes offer low cost spaying. Mimi should no be left outside, especially if she is in season. A male dog could get a hold of her and do great damage. I would watch a space heater, as she could get burned and it could be a fire hazard of she throws some of her blankers around. I would get a kitty carrier or a wire crate and keep her inside where she normally stays. If you are with her, she can wear tine doggie diapers or a a belt (looks little vinyl panties) that are made for female dogs in season. Its not Mimi's fault and she should be punished :( -- em :)
