Oh my gosh..how scarey that must have been. Poor Rein and you! I was thinking of giving her some Children's Benadryl but figured that would just make her more sleepy! I will probably have the vet do the next shot. I have enough grey hair on my head already! Scared me too! She was sleepy but the thing that got our attention right away was that she got bumps on her otherwise smooth little head, and her eyes swelled. We rushed her back to the vet and he gave her an antihistmine shot. She was back to normal in a very short amount of time after that. Our vet made note of the reaction on her chart, so when she got her next shot, he gave her the antihistamine shot with it. She didn't have any problems that time. The vet even called us at home that night to make sure she was okay. I was very surprised at his phone call, and pleased that he cared enough to check on her! Maybe an antihistamine would help Pebbles. I'm sure your vet will be able to tell you. Hope she does better after the next shot! Mindy .
