Of all the pups I have ever raised, only one has ever had a reaction and boy was it scary! The little fellow swelled up and looked like a shar pei pup! Vet also made not on his chart, and when he was sold, I made sure I was very clear to the new owner that he does have allergic reactions and will need bynadril before every shot and that new vet should be made aware and should give a antihistamine shot and she should stay at the vet for at least a half hour after the shot just to be safe. Things went downhill from there as she was lethargic and sleepy all day long! I have been giving assorted critters (including snakes,cats,dogs,horses,cows etc) for over 30 years and this was a first for me! She is fine today but sure had me worried yesterday.
