I have 2 Chi's. Tito my 5 year old has never barked at all. He does this sneeze
thing when he wants to get up on the bed or just to get my attention. Raina my
newest addition is 4 months and occassionaly has that puppy bark were trying to
contain by telling her no or enough, seems to be working for now. I live in a
Condo so I've been very lucky. My Jack Russel and the love of my life who
passed away 7 yrs ago never bark either from the day we got her. Speaking with
other owners of Chi's in my Condo they don't seem to have problems with barking
either. Hope that helps. I think with proper training you can change most
habits.
