Hello, I have a 3 month old Chihuahua that I believe has developed
cherry eye also. Our vet gave us some kind of cream to use in the eye
for seven days to see if it would clear up, before considering
surgery. He was not so sure that it was cherry eye because it is not
really bulging or red. I was curious as to what the drops were that
you had been given, if they work, I would like to suggest them to my
vet. What we were given was a tube of cream to squirt into his eyes
every 12 hours. I am really concerned about his eye. The vet quoted me
350.00-450.00 for the operation. Yikes. Does anyone think this is
high, or is this a normal rate? Thanks.
