My niece and I just bought chihuahua puppies. They are 7 weeks old
today. We bought them a week ago. I bought a little boy, we named
Bailey. And she got a girl, and named her Misty. Her puppy(Misty) is
being very aggresive toward eveyone in the family. She growls and
try's to bite whenever she is touched or picked up. My puppy will
growl a little, but not as much as Misty. And now she is trying to
bite. Is this normal for a Chihuahua to be this aggressive? Will she
continue to be like this? She was the most out going a playful puppy
in the litter. They have small kids in the family and are
considering finding her a new home or seeing if the breeder will
take back the puppy.
Misty has also gained a pound in one week. She is much bigger than
her brother and they were the same size when we bought them. Is that
to much of a gain for a Chihuahua? She is almost 3 pounds. I think
they may be feeding her to much. They went through a half of a 14 oz.
can of 2nd step esbilac puppy weaning formula, the dry stuff, in one
week. They were mixing that in with her puppy chow and water. Way to
much.

Thanks in Advance,
               Lisa
