Chihuahuas get so upset easily too, their egos seem easily damaged by harsh
words, although my boy Dingus doesn't really seem to care either way...the hot
pepper stuff seems to work well for him, I got that info off the ACA web site.
However, my female Pepper LOVES peppers in any form and was eating bananna
peppers last month and licking tabasco sauce off Dingus so...hahaha, figured
out why I named her Pepper? I was putting black pepper on something and she was
licking it off the floor where I spilled it too..what a goof!

with a doggie treat and praise him like crazy "everytime" he goes potty
outside. Then show extreme dissappointment when he goes potty inside. Crate him
while he is inside, for a few days, so he can only go potty outside. This is
the reason I buy only female dogs. But my youngest little girl still goes poop
in my kitchen about once a week, so the gender is not a sure thing. When she
does, I show her the poop and tell her that's naughty and put her in her crate
and keep saying "I'm so disappointed in u" in a very disappointed sounding
voice. It's getting better, but it's hard sometimes.

Sherri,I understand your frustration, but male dogs are going to mark their
territory no matter what, now there will be people who will tell you that there
are all kind of ways to stop them, but I have owned chi's for over 15 years,I
have 9,3 boys and I have done everything there is to do and they still
mark. The only way to stop them is to put them outside.I only put old rugs in
my house,I use sheets on my furniture, but I love my chi's more than pretty
floors and furniture,so I work it out.I hope that you will consider how much
he means to you before you decide to put him in a shelter to probably be put
down.My opinion is that when we got our animals, they had no choice, they are
like children, they have to be taken care of and it is our responsibilty to do
that.Take him out more often, put him in a pen outside in a closed-in place
and take him out more.Good Luck --- sherri <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
