I was happy to find out that a puppy that I got was
growing and growing and is now a happy, healthy 7 lbs!
With my 3 lb and all her health problems and the soon
to be 4 lb little girl, I have all the vet bills that
I can handle. The little 3 lb girl, in a good month,
costs me approx. $1000 at the vet. I wouldn't deny
any of my babies the best of care and anything they
need but I had to take out 2 credit cards specifically
for her and her costs. When she turned 2 years old,
we threw her a birthday party and the whole world,
including her vet, came out to celebrate because there
was a question as to whether she would live to see it
or not! She is now 6 and we have it down to a
science. She has to leave the house when the cleaning
lady is here (can't be around strong smells of
cleaning products), she can't be held by anyone
wearing perfume or scented cream (she breaks out in
hives), she needs special food and special shampoo,
childrens Benadryl is a must, no major running
competitions and nothing in her world can really
change, she just can't handle it. But we love her
more than anything.
