I trained Brutus and Sissy on the potty pad.You rub the potty pad in some of hi
pee. Then put it were hi is been gone on the floor. They like to go were they
been before. You can slowly move it to the area you want him to go.It comes in
handy in the cold times when they hate to go outside.Hi dose not do this out of
spied. He don;t know better.Every time hi goes on the potty pad ore paper praise
him like there is no tomorrow.Tell him no if hi goes some were else.I started
out with 4 potty pads in 4 divergent areas. His small  balder can't hold a
lot.Puppy's have to go when they got to go they can not control they balder at
all just like baby's.Brutus my 4.6 lb Chi has to go every 3-4 hours.Sissy my
5.1lb chi  goes every 5 hours .So take your time and give him time.

God bless you Brutus,Sissy and Claudia

Subject: [Chihuahuas] house breaking

Hello everyone. I have an 18 week old purebred long haired chihuahua
who I have been trying to house break since we got him at 9 weeks and I
cant seem to do it.. We take him out many times a day and yet he still
insists on going on the floor! Its like he's doing it to spite us. We
take him out for like 15 mins and he'll refuse to go and just minutes
after we go inside, he'll poop or pee on the floor! Do you have any
suggestions? I've even tried to paper train him and that didnt work
either.
The breeder we got him from just let the pups go wherever which i think
was the start of the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions on how
to get him to go outside? He's ruining all our floors!
