Try confining him to a small area. Also keep him tied to you so you can watch him. Put him on a regular schedule.

I have an 18 week old purebred long haired chihuahua who I have been trying to house break since we got him at 9 weeks and I cant seem to do it. We take him out many times a day and yet he still insists on going on the floor! Its like he's doing it to spite us. We take him out for like 15 mins and he'll refuse to go and just minutes after we go inside, he'll poop or pee on the floor! Do you have any suggestions? I've even tried to paper train him and that didnt work either. The breeder we got him from just let the pups go wherever which i think was the start of the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get him to go outside? He's ruining all our floors! ------------------------------------ " Lets talk about our wonderful little friends! Join today!
